Work on the Chinese “Romandisea” replica Titanic has completely stopped. The vessel has been rusting away in China, for a few years now.
Remember, it was NEVER going to be a real working ship, but a full-sized theme park attraction, in China. (Not to be confused with Clive Palmer’s Titanic II).
Romandisea should have been completed in 2017, but the whole theme park project ran into financial difficulties. Work slowly recommenced in 2018 using volunteers, rather than paid workers, I believe. I believe the decks were almost completed, so building the superstructure would have been be next task.
Will it ever be completed? Who know?
