Introduction

By the time that you read this, the QE2 will have long retired from Cunard service, sold, been laid-up for a decade in Dubai, before becoming a hotel.

So much has been written before about the most famous ship in the world, that I am in danger of repeating it all. In short so many people loved her, yet others were not so impressed. Therefore was her reputation bigger than the reality? Read on:
