Now I have told you about China’s Romandisea Titanic, which is planned to be a full sized replica of the original 1912 RMS Titanic. However it’s not a real ship, it will be a theme park attraction.
However there is another Titanic ship, on the drawing board, called: Titan
She was envisioned as the world’s largest, longest, and fastest ocean liner, at 165,000 gross tonnes, carrying 2,800 passengers.
Her top speed would be a record breaking 45 knots.
It was hoped that this ship would be designed and constructed by Harland and Wolff, Titanic’s original designer and builder, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The ship will be registered and flagged in the United States. This will allow the ship to comply with the Jones Act.
She was expected to be the most expensive ship ever built.
