Blue Star Line is pleased to announce that world leading marine architecture and interior design company Tillberg Design of Sweden will once again be working on Titanic II.

Blue Star Line Chairman Clive Palmer, said Tillberg was the perfect choice to bring the grand vision of Titanic II to life.

“We are very fortunate to be collaborating once again with the exceptional cruise-ship design firm Tillberg Design of Sweden, who were one of our inaugural partners when plans for Titanic II were first announced in 2012,’’ Mr Palmer said.

The Titanic II will be a faithful reproduction of the original vessel with replicated restaurants, dining rooms, interiors and cabin layouts.

Passengers will be treated to the authentic Titanic experience while benefiting from the integration of modern safety procedures, navigation methods and 21st century technology to produce the highest level of luxurious comfort.

Titanic II will follow the original journey of its iconic namesake, carrying passengers from Southampton to New York. The ship will also circumnavigate the globe, inspiring and enchanting people while attracting unrivalled attention, intrigue and mystery in every port she visits.

Malcolm says: Palmer is re-assembling his 2012-14 Titanic II team. Just like ‘Deltamarin’ (maritime architects), Tillberg are the ‘real deal’ and have designed some of the most impressive (and tasteful) cruise ship interiors. They are one of the best in the business.

Titanic II’s ship design (Deltamarin) and interior design (Tillberg) is in very capable hands.  2024: Palmer has now decided not to use China’s Jinling shipyard, but use a European one.
